gmt-doc-pdf software package provides PDF docs for GMT, the Generic Mapping Tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gmt-doc-pdf
gmt-doc-pdf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gmt-doc-pdf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gmt-doc-pdf *
You will get with gmt-doc-pdf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
